Hi folks, it's been a slow fall around here, what with waiting around and hanging out and staring at the ceiling and watching the grass grow while I wait for my bar results.
To help pass the time, I have started a new health kick. Although this might not be the most fascinating thing you read online, I am going to use this blog to post weekly calorie counts. Yeah, I tried a fancy diet with restrictions and stuff, but realized I am just not that strong! So I'm doing the old-fashioned thing.
To start things off, here is the calorie count for week 1:
Thursday: 1320
Friday: 1300
Saturday: 1280
Sunday: 1220
Monday: 1520
Tuesday: 1500
Wednesday: 1460
As you can see, I'm trying to keep calories between 1200 and 1500. I'm also exercising intensely at least twice a week (at the gym) and exercising moderately at least twice a week (on my treadmill).
I've decided not to weigh myself, because there's too much danger of rewarding weight loss with chocolate or comforting weight gain with chocolate. (Yes, chocolate is magical and serves many purposes for me.) So my goal is simply to stick to the exercise/food plan and assume results are happening!
I've had remarkably few cravings this week considering the Halloween chocolate that is in every aisle in every store. But I imagine I will have to take a day off the diet right after Halloween to indulge my sweet tooth just a little. Of course, that still leaves three weeks of being good!
