One of the few off-leash hiking areas nearby is the Sunol Wilderness, just East of Fremont. This weekend, we made it there! It was absolutely gorgeous... although we had a few tense moments after a pack of cows spotted the pooches and suddenly looked hungry (I know cows usually aren't carnivorous, but these looked very tired of grass).

You could change the car's name to Power Waggin. :)
It took just under an hour to get there, so it's not far! I love the new name for the truck!!! I'm off to get a permanent marker to make the change...
